New Zealand lotteries: review 2020.04.27-05.03
Hi everyone!
We really hope that you all are having a great week! Once again, we would like to remind that many lotteries are still available online - so there’s no need to leave home. We will keep you updated with all relevant lottery results during this still-uncertain period. The last week (27 April-3 May) was interesting as always across the most popular lotteries in New Zealand - why don’t we check what exactly happened there?
One of the top lotteries nationwide in New Zealand is always separated into three parts with different gambling principles: Lotto, Strike! and Powerball. All of these sub-games were played across two draws last week - they were present on Wednesday (29 April) and Saturday (2 May).
Similarly as the week before, there were not many jackpot winners - Lotto was the only sub-game which gave away the jackpot. We’re excited to announce that this time, 1 player landed the prize worth $1M on Saturday - congratulations! Also, we should not forget the best Lotto results across other divisions. In Powerball, 1 player landed the 2nd best prize (given away for 5 numbers + Bonus + Powerball) on Saturday - the sum of over $10k was taken home. Meanwhile, Strike! had 99 winners of its 2nd best prize (40 on Wednesday and 59 on Saturday) - these players got either $535 or $558. Congratulations to everyone and best of luck next week!
KenoKeno is a lottery which is ongoing 4 times per day, 7 times per week (with the slots of 10 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM and 6 PM). Due to this constant frequency, all players interested in Keno are proactive - convenient timings allow them to take more chances there. Also, the game is quite easy to enter and play - some similarities to bingo can be detected.
Regarding all Keno results from last week, the multiplier of each draw fluctuated from 1.5 to 10. Adding the multiplier to your ticket costs extra as well as the odds for each multiplier are different.
BullseyeDuring the daily games of Bullseye lottery last week, the lucky numbers (bringing the jackpot prize when gambling) were as follows: 54,162, 904,065, 533,442, 621,426, 625,571, 244,194, 659,947
The average result of the lucky number giving the jackpot last week was 520,401. Similarly as last week, there were no jackpot winners, but we’re excited to announce the lucky player who won the 2nd best prize of $10k on Saturday - very well done!
Although the lottery market is small in New Zealand while comparing with other countries, games available there are still popular due to their simple format. Also, many lotteries are on air every day from Monday to Sunday - so it is not difficult to find some time to participate.
Congratulations to everyone who played and won once again. See you next week and stay safe!
