New Zealand lotteries: review 2020.02.10-16

Hello folks!
Hope you had a great week and many wonderful moments! From our side today, we are happy to announce the results in the most popular lottery games across New Zealand during the last week (10-16 February).

Lotto

One of the top-played lotteries in the country, Lotto, was live twice last week. The draws were on air on Wednesday (12 February) and Saturday (15 February). For each of these draws, this lottery is traditionally divided into 3 parts: Lotto, Strike! and Powerball.

The prize pool of $6,914,301 was delivered in total. What is more, 1,107,869 players won a prize at some point last week. There was one particularly lucky player, who landed the jackpot worth $1,000,000 on the Saturday’s game. The odds of winning this prize were only 1 in 3,838,380!

Keno

Keno is a lottery ongoing on a daily basis with draws taking place 4 times per day (10 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM and 6 PM) - therefore, players are quite proactive due to the frequency and difficulty level - this game is quite straight-forward and somehow similar to the popular game of bingo.

Summarizing all 28 sessions which took part during the last week, the multiplier of each draw was fluctuating from 1.5 to 10.

Bullseye

During the daily games of Bullseye lottery last week, the lucky numbers for the week of 10 February to 16 February in a particular order: 855,059, 94,957, 340,944, 797,325, 787,694, 543,490, 328,854.

After estimating the final numbers, the average result of this jackpot last week was equal to 535,475. There were no winners of the jackpot last week. On the other hand, the Division 2 (also known as the second best option to win) had 2 winners: each of them managed to bring $10,000 home. For the Division 3, there were 8 winners who received prizes from $550 to $1,193.

Although the number of popular lotteries in New Zealand is not that large, the format can fully allow players from different backgrounds to gamble and play without any additional struggle or inconvenience to their usual routines. As most lotteries are present on a daily basis and offer particularly easy and non-risky methods of gambling, it can be simply pleasant to participate in these draws.

Best wishes to all winners and participants from us once again. Looking forward to delivering the result analysis to you next week!
